INTCO Medical and KUKA, a leading global industrial automation company under Midea Group, have officially entered into a strategic cooperation agreement to accelerate intelligent manufacturing transformation across INTCO Medical’s global production network. The partnership marks the transition from project-based collaboration to a comprehensive strategic alliance, focusing on industrial robotics, automated logistics, intelligent production lines, and advanced manufacturing solutions.

The signing ceremony was attended by senior executives from both companies, including Frank Liu, Chairman of INTCO Medical, Jian Cai Li, Vice General Manager of INTCO Medical, Fang Hongbo, Chairman and President of Midea Group, and Yanmin Gu, Vice President of Midea Group. Qiong Chen, General Manager of INTCO Medical, Zhe Jin, General Manager of INTCO Recycling, and Guiyou Xu, CEO of KUKA China, signed the strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of both parties.

Over RMB 300 Million Investment to Accelerate Manufacturing Automation

Under the strategic agreement, the cooperation scale exceeds RMB 300 million and covers the deployment of approximately 1,500 industrial robots, 500 mobile and embodied intelligent robots, as well as 50 automated storage systems and integrated automation solutions.

The collaboration will focus on key manufacturing processes across INTCO Medical and INTCO Recycling, including automated assembly, intelligent inspection, smart logistics, and production line optimization. Through the implementation strategy of “pilot projects, full-scale factory deployment, and integrated production line upgrades,” both companies will accelerate the adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies.

By integrating AI vision systems, adaptive robotic handling, and intelligent manufacturing platforms, the partnership will further enhance flexible production capabilities and support efficient manufacturing for diverse product portfolios.
