INTCO Medical, INTCO Recycling and China University of Petroleum (East China) recently held a donation signing ceremony to establish the INTCO Medical Education Fund. With a total commitment of RMB 1 million, the fund will support outstanding students, career development, campus recruitment and practical learning, marking a new milestone in the long-standing university–enterprise partnership.
Wu Qiangming, Party Secretary of China University of Petroleum (East China) and Chair of the university’s education development foundation; Wang Xiaomei, Assistant to the President and Vice Chair of the foundation; and Yu Haisheng, Director and Deputy General Manager of INTCO Medical, attended the signing ceremony and witnessed the launch of the fund.
RMB 1 Million Fund Supports Student Development
The INTCO Medical Education Fund includes the INTCO Medical Scholarship and the INTCO Medical Activity Fund. The scholarship will recognise students who demonstrate strong academic performance, good character and outstanding development potential. The activity fund will support employment guidance, campus recruitment, career development programs and distinctive campus activities.
Through cooperation with the university’s education development foundation, the initiative will provide students with both academic encouragement and career-focused support. It is also designed to connect university education more closely with the skills and professional capabilities required by modern industries.
The fund will further support the university’s employment guidance and career services, helping students better understand industry trends, explore career opportunities and prepare for the transition from academic study to professional employment.
Representatives from the School of Materials Science and Engineering, College of Control Science and Engineering, College of Computer Science and Technology, Student Employment Guidance Centre, Academic Affairs Office, Cooperation and Development Office and Education Development Center also attended the ceremony.
Strengthening Long-Term University–Enterprise Cooperation
INTCO Medical, INTCO Recycling and China University of Petroleum (East China) have maintained a close partnership centred on talent development. Smart Manufacturing Summer Training Welcomes 26 Students
The partnership entered a new stage in July 2026 with the launch of the INTCO Medical Smart Manufacturing Summer Training Camp.
Twenty-six students from the College of Mechanical and Electronic Engineering, College of Computer Science and Technology and College of Science joined the program for an immersive industry experience.
Through workplace practice, professional mentoring and project-based learning, the students will explore smart manufacturing operations and observe how automation, digital systems and engineering expertise are applied in modern manufacturing facilities.
The program allows participants to strengthen their technical knowledge in authentic working environments while gaining a clearer understanding of potential career paths. Students will also develop practical problem-solving skills, teamwork capabilities and a stronger awareness of manufacturing quality, efficiency and innovation.
By combining academic knowledge with hands-on industrial experience, the training camp supports industry-education integration and helps students prepare for future careers in engineering, intelligent manufacturing, computer science and related fields.
